Biography:
Mumm-Ra is the main antagonist of the 1980s animated television series, Thundercats.
He is an undead, powerful sorcerer, and servant of the Ancient Spirits of Evil. His primary goal is to destroy the Thundercats and obtain the Eye of Thundera, the source of their power.
Mumm-Ra resides within the Black Pyramid, where he rejuvenates himself in a sarcophagus. When he awakens, he transforms from a weakened, mummified form into a towering, muscular figure, proclaiming "Ancient Spirits of Evil, transform this decayed form to Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living!"
Mumm-Ra's first appearance was in the first episode of the Thundercats cartoon, "Exodus", in 1985.
