Biography:
Giganta is a DC Comics supervillain, primarily known as an adversary of Wonder Woman.
Her first appearance was in Wonder Woman #9 (Summer 1944). Originally, Giganta was Dr. Doris Zuel, a scientist who, suffering from a terminal illness, sought a way to transfer her consciousness into a healthier body. She initially targeted Wonder Woman's body. This attempt failed, but Zuel was able to transfer her mind into the body of a circus strongwoman named Olga, granting her enhanced strength.
Later versions of the character gained the ability to grow to immense size, solidifying her role as "Giganta." Her size-altering powers and formidable strength make her a powerful foe for Wonder Woman and other heroes.
