Nico Robin is a prominent character from the anime series One Piece. She first appears in the Alabasta Arc.
Robin is an archaeologist and historian, possessing a vast knowledge of ancient languages and lost civilizations, particularly the study of Poneglyphs, which are stone tablets containing historical information. She is also a Devil Fruit user, having consumed the Hana Hana no Mi (Flower-Flower Fruit), which grants her the ability to replicate parts of her body on any surface.
Due to her ability to read the Poneglyphs, she is sought after by the World Government, who consider her a threat due to the secrets these stones potentially hold. Robin joins the Straw Hat Pirates as their archaeologist and becomes a valuable member of the crew.
Her ultimate goal is to uncover the true history of the world and find the Rio Poneglyph, which is said to reveal the complete history of the world.
