Richard "Dick" Grayson, a central figure in the DC Universe, began his career as Robin, Batman's original sidekick. His parents, the Flying Graysons, were acrobats murdered by Tony Zucco, a mob boss. Bruce Wayne, witnessing the tragedy, took Dick in and trained him.
As Robin, Dick assisted Batman in fighting crime in Gotham City. He matured under Batman's guidance, developing his own skills in acrobatics, detective work, and hand-to-hand combat. However, as he grew older, Dick sought independence.
Eventually, Dick transitioned into the hero Nightwing, operating primarily in Blüdhaven. As Nightwing, he established his own identity, leading teams like the Teen Titans and the Outsiders. He also briefly served as Batman during Bruce Wayne's absence.
