Wesley Crusher is a fictional character in the Star Trek franchise, primarily appearing in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG). Played by Wil Wheaton, Wesley is the son of Dr. Beverly Crusher and the late Lt. Jack Crusher, who served under Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
Initially a teenager aboard the USS Enterprise-D, Wesley often felt the pressure of living up to his parents' legacies.
