Biography:

Melter is a Marvel Comics supervillain whose real name is Bruno Horgan. He first appeared in *Tales of Suspense* #47 (November 1963).

Horgan is a scientist who developed a device that emits a melting ray capable of liquefying metal. Initially, he used this technology for industrial purposes but was soon consumed by a desire for wealth and power.

As the Melter, he uses his ray to commit robberies and challenge powerful heroes like Iron Man, using his tech against Stark Industries.
