The Phantasm is a mysterious vigilante operating within the DC Universe, most notably featured in the animated film, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.
While multiple individuals have adopted the Phantasm mantle, the most recognized is Andrea Beaumont. Her origin is intertwined with Bruce Wayne's own, as they were romantically involved before Bruce became Batman. However, personal tragedy and a quest for revenge led Andrea down a different path.
