Dr. Warren White, also known as The Great White Shark, is a DC Comics supervillain, primarily an enemy of Batman. A former Gotham City financier, White was convicted of embezzlement and imprisoned in Blackgate Penitentiary.
While incarcerated, he was subjected to brutal experiments by fellow inmates, including being force-fed chemicals. These experiments drastically altered his physical appearance, giving him chalk-white skin, razor-sharp teeth, and claw-like nails, resembling a great white shark.
Driven insane and possessing enhanced strength and ferocity, White embraced his monstrous transformation and became a formidable criminal. He often uses his business acumen and connections from his past life to further his criminal endeavors.
