Blue Demon is a legendary figure in Lucha Libre, the masked wrestling tradition of Mexico. One of the most iconic Luchadores of all time, he debuted on March 27, 1948, in Arena Mexico. His real name was Alejandro Muñoz Moreno.

Known for his blue mask and silver wrestling tights, Blue Demon was a "tecnico," a heroic or good guy character. He engaged in famous rivalries with other wrestling legends, most notably El Santo, which eventually transitioned from rivalry to partnership.

Blue Demon also starred in numerous action movies and television shows, further cementing his status as a cultural icon in Mexico. His legacy continues to inspire generations of Luchadores.
