White Canary is a character primarily known from the Arrowverse television series, where she's significantly different from her comic book counterpart.

Within the Arrowverse, White Canary is Sara Lance, played by Caity Lotz. She initially appeared as a recurring character in Arrow before becoming a core member and leader of the Legends in Legends of Tomorrow. Her first appearance was in Arrow Season 1, Episode 1, "Pilot".

Sara Lance's journey involves being shipwrecked, presumed dead, and eventually trained by the League of Assassins, where she takes on the identity of the Canary. After her death and resurrection via the Lazarus Pit, she struggles with its side effects, prompting her eventual transition to the White Canary.
