Zeltrax, originally known as the human scientist Dr. Anton Mercer, is a primary antagonist from Power Rangers Dino Thunder. His life takes a dark turn after a lab accident involving dinosaur DNA, leading him to believe he was abandoned by his research partner, Tommy Oliver.
Fueled by resentment and mutated by the DNA, Mercer transforms into Zeltrax, a cyborg warrior devoted to destroying Tommy and conquering Reefside. He serves Mesogog as a powerful general, commanding Tyrannodrones and creating monstrous Dino-Mutants to fight the Dino Thunder Rangers.
Zeltrax possesses enhanced strength, speed, and the ability to generate energy blasts. He's a formidable opponent, driven by vengeance and a thirst for power. Throughout the series, his past as Anton Mercer and his complex relationship with Tommy Oliver are explored, adding depth to his villainous persona.
