King Pig, often simply referred to as the King, is a primary antagonist in the *Angry Birds* franchise. He first appeared in the original *Angry Birds* mobile game in December 2009.

King Pig is characterized by his large size, royal crown, and insatiable appetite for eggs. He rules over the other pigs, directing their efforts to steal the birds' eggs, which are the source of conflict within the *Angry Birds* universe. He is generally depicted as lazy, greedy, and not particularly intelligent, relying on his minions to carry out his plans, often unsuccessfully.

Throughout the various *Angry Birds* games, animated shorts, and films, King Pig remains a constant, albeit often comedic, obstacle for the titular birds. His motivations are always driven by his desire to eat eggs, and he frequently faces the consequences of his failed schemes.
