Power Rangers

Deker, in his human form, is a recurring antagonist from Power Rangers Samurai and Power Rangers Super Samurai. He is a cursed warrior eternally seeking a worthy opponent. Once human, he was tricked into wielding the Uramasa, a sentient sword imbued with dark power, which corrupted him and effectively made him half-Nighlok.

Deker exists in a state of perpetual limbo, neither fully human nor entirely Nighlok. This internal conflict fuels his obsession with finding a battle that will either end his suffering or prove his strength. He possesses incredible swordsmanship skills, often challenging the Red Samurai Ranger, Jayden Shiba, whom he perceives as his ultimate rival.

Unlike most Nighloks, Deker is not interested in flooding the world with the Sanzu River's waters. His sole motivation is the thrill of combat and achieving resolution to his tortured existence. He is a complex character, torn between his lingering humanity and the dark influence of the Uramasa.
