Louie De Palma, commonly known as "Taxi," is a fictional character from the American sitcom *Taxi*, which aired from 1978 to 1983. He was portrayed by Danny DeVito.

Louie is the cynical, short-tempered, and often exploitative dispatcher for the Sunshine Cab Company.
