Biography:
Ken Kaneki is the protagonist of the anime series Tokyo Ghoul, first appearing in the initial episode of the show.
Originally a human college student, Kaneki's life drastically changes after a date with Rize Kamishiro, who is revealed to be a ghoul. During an attack, Rize is killed, and Kaneki receives organ transplants from her, inadvertently transforming him into a one-eyed ghoul.
Kaneki struggles to adapt to his new existence, torn between the human and ghoul worlds. He finds refuge at Anteiku, a coffee shop that serves as a safe haven for ghouls. As the series progresses, Kaneki navigates the complex politics and violence of the ghoul society while battling his own inner demons and evolving powers.
