Biography:
Edmund Pevensie is a fictional character featured in C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia series, adapted for various film and television productions.
He is the third of the four Pevensie siblings to enter Narnia in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Initially, Edmund is portrayed as sullen and prone to selfishness, succumbing to the allure of the White Witch's promises. This leads him to betray his siblings.
However, through Aslan's sacrifice and intervention, Edmund is redeemed. He recognizes the error of his ways and actively fights against the White Witch's forces. His redemption arc is a central theme of his character.
Later in the series, Edmund evolves into a more mature and just character. He returns to Narnia in subsequent books, demonstrating wisdom and leadership qualities. He serves as a King alongside his siblings, contributing significantly to Narnian society. Skandar Keynes portrayed him in the Walden Media films.
