Arcade is a recurring villain in Marvel Comics, primarily known for his elaborate and deadly Murderworld.

His real name and past are largely unknown; he claims to be from a wealthy family who disapproved of his homicidal tendencies. He honed his skills in assassination, eventually creating Murderworld as a specialized arena for his deadly games.

Murderworld is a vast, mechanized complex filled with booby traps, robots, and illusions, all designed to torment and kill his targets, typically superheroes.

Arcade doesn't possess superhuman powers, but he's a genius inventor and engineer. He's incredibly wealthy, funding his extravagant and deadly endeavors. He's also a master manipulator and strategist, using his knowledge of psychology and technology to create personalized nightmares for his victims.

While primarily a solo villain, Arcade has sometimes worked with other adversaries against the X-Men and other heroes. Despite the lethal nature of his games, Arcade often seems to enjoy the theatrical and psychological aspects of his work as much as the killing itself, portraying himself as more of a twisted game master than a straightforward murderer.
