Yamcha is a character from the popular Dragon Ball franchise. He first appears in the original Dragon Ball series as a desert bandit, initially as an antagonist to Goku and Bulma.
During the events of Dragon Ball Z, Yamcha trains to become a stronger fighter in order to protect Earth from various threats, especially those from outer space. He begins as a capable fighter but often falls behind the Saiyans in terms of power level. He is a member of the Z Fighters.
Although Yamcha's fighting abilities are surpassed by other characters as the series progresses, he remains a supportive and loyal friend. He is primarily recognized for his signature move, the Wolf Fang Fist.
