Biography:
Rose Tyler is a fictional character portrayed by Billie Piper in the British science fiction TV Show, Doctor Who. She first appears in the episode "Rose" (2005), the first episode of the show's revival.
Rose is a young woman working in a shop when she meets the Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston), becoming his travelling companion. Rose is known for her strong will, courage, and empathy.
Her relationship with the Doctor develops throughout the series, becoming one of the central emotional arcs. She later travels with the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant), and her story ends with her being trapped in a parallel universe, a storyline conclusion which upset some members of the fanbase and which has seen the characters story continue in later episodes.
