Mirror Master is the alias of several villains in DC Comics, primarily associated with the Flash. The most well-known Mirror Master is Sam Scudder, who debuted in 1959.
Scudder was a small-time criminal working in a prison mirror factory. After accidentally discovering a new form of mirror that allowed travel into a mirror universe, he used this technology to commit crimes. He could also trap people inside mirrors and project illusions.
Later Mirror Masters include Evan McCulloch, who took over the mantle after Scudder's death. McCulloch, unlike Scudder, had genuine metahuman powers, allowing him to create and manipulate mirrors. He retained Scudder's technology as well.
Regardless of the individual, Mirror Master is a master of reflection and illusion, using mirrors and light manipulation as primary weapons. Both Scudder and McCulloch have been members of the Rogues, a group of supervillains who are frequent adversaries of the Flash.
