Armitage Hux was a high-ranking officer in the First Order military. Born out of the ashes of the Galactic Empire, Hux was raised from childhood to be a dedicated and ruthless soldier. His father, Brendol Hux, played a crucial role in developing the First Order's child soldier program and instilled in Armitage an unwavering loyalty to the ideology of restoring order to the galaxy.

Hux rose quickly through the ranks due to his tactical brilliance, his fervent belief in the First Order’s superiority, and his willingness to employ extreme measures. He became known for his fiery speeches, inspiring troops to unwavering obedience. He commanded Starkiller Base, a superweapon capable of destroying entire star systems, demonstrating his commitment to crushing any opposition to the First Order's dominance.

Driven by ambition and a deep-seated rivalry with Kylo Ren, Hux ultimately betrayed the First Order by providing information to the Resistance. This act was motivated by a desire to see Ren fail and himself rise to supreme power. His betrayal, though ultimately self-serving, significantly aided the Resistance in their fight against the First Order. He was later executed by General Pryde for his treachery.
