Cannonball Taylor is a recurring character in the classic anime and manga series, Speed Racer (Mach GoGoGo). He is a veteran race car driver known for his underhanded and often dangerous tactics.

Taylor is portrayed as a ruthless competitor, willing to cheat and sabotage his opponents to win. He frequently employs illegal modifications to his vehicles and engages in reckless driving maneuvers. Despite his villainous tendencies, he is a skilled driver capable of pushing his car, and his opponents, to their limits.

While an antagonist for Speed Racer on numerous occasions, Taylor occasionally demonstrates a grudging respect for Speed's driving abilities.
