Prince of Persia

Asoka is a character in the 2008 video game Prince of Persia. She is a companion character to the unnamed Prince, serving as his primary ally throughout the game.

She is the daughter of the King, a ruler who made a deal with the dark god Ahriman to save his kingdom from destruction. As a result, Ahriman is slowly corrupting the land, and Asoka is dedicated to stopping the encroaching darkness.

Asoka possesses magical abilities tied to the light god, Ormazd. These powers allow her to cleanse the Corruption that plagues the land, restore life to barren areas, and aid the Prince in combat and traversal.

While not a princess, Asoka takes on the role of a healer and guide, driving the narrative forward and acting as the moral compass of the duo. Her interactions with the Prince show a deep concern for her land and its people, contrasted by her father's desperate measures.
