Babette, sometimes referred to as Fifi, is a supporting character in Disney's animated film, Beauty and the Beast.

Formerly a vivacious and flirtatious maid in Prince Adam's castle, she was transformed into a feather duster by the Enchantress's curse. Her primary role is comedic, often depicted batting her feathers at male characters and reminiscing about her pre-curse life.

She is easily excitable and demonstrates a playful, sometimes mischievous, personality. Despite her limited mobility as a duster, Babette actively participates in the castle's defense against Gaston and his mob, using her feathers to tickle and distract the intruders.

Ultimately, Babette is restored to her human form when Belle breaks the curse, allowing her to resume her life as a maid and, presumably, continue her romantic pursuits.
